A professional vapour Blasting service or aqua blasting, wet blasting, slurry blasting or vapour honing as it is also know, is a non-destructive surface preparation technique that has been specially developed for applications requiring finer more delicate finishes. It removes ingrained dirt, contaminants, rust, and corrosion from a wide range of surfaces. Its the ideal way to clean and restore most metals: ferrous steel and iron, non-ferrous Aluminium, Magnesium, Titanium, Brass, Copper, Bronze and Stainless Steel and also some hard plastics.
Vapour Blasting is commonly used to clean engine components, Barrels, Case’s, Hubs, Brake Plate’s, Yoke’s, Fork’s, Turbo’s, Water Pump’s, Inlet Manifold’s, Rocker Cover’s, Fuel Rail’s, Engine Blocks & Piston’s, carburettors, engine Casings, Piston Heads, Gearboxes, and Brake callipers, we offer a brake calliper painting service.
Advantages of Vapour Blasting are its a dust free process, it cleans gently by the flow of water and very fine blast media, not by high pressure hard abrasive impact alone and the water acts as a lubricant between the media & component, which also importantly helps to avoid any media impregnation into soft materials.
All parts that are due to be cleaned are inspected for any corrosive weak spots or faults which may be damaged during the vapour blasting process.
All parts should be de-greased and bearings and bushes removed before vapour blasting can be carried out, but we can de-grease and remove bearings and bushes for you and re- fit new ones (you can supply they or we can source them for you (that's if they are still available) but obviously it will be at extra cost.

Professional blasting in our large blast room and in our high performance blast cabinet, that is ideal for smaller items. Sand blasting as it is more commonly known, is really a method of forcibly propelling with compressed air a stream of different kinds of media particles fired under visual control, we actually use a fine grade grit as it does not severely pit the metals surface.
Abrasive blasting, media blasting or grit blasting as it is also known will smooth or roughen surfaces, it will gently etch away rust and corrosion and strip away old paint and other contaminants on many different materials.
TRADING TERMS
---------------------
The Customer – must provide locking wheel nut key.
The Customer - needs to be aware that if any damaged and broken locking wheel nut bolts have to be removed and replaced, the cost of this will be passed on to the Customer. In split rim refurbishment if any wheel bolts break due to corrosion and have to be drilled and have to be heli coiled, again there will be an additional cost for this service.
All customers vehicles on our premises must be fully covered by the owner’s insurance.
The Customer – must check the tightness of the wheel fixings after driving their vehicle between 30 and 50 miles.
The Customer – must fully accept responsibility for the safety and legal standard of their own tyres.
If we notice the customers tyres do not meet the relevant legal standards we will advise them, and also we will not re-fit them under any circumstances.
The Customer – must ensure their vehicle is collected ASAP on completion, unless prior arrangements have been made and also ensure any loose rims are collected within 1 week of completion. If any Alloys remain uncollected after 6 weeks we will sell them in an attempt to recoup the costs incurred.
The Customer – must pay all monies owed in order for their vehicle or loose wheels to be released.
We – always endeavour to refurbish the customers wheels to the highest standards, but wheels that
are in a very bad condition may not refurbish to our highest standards.
Very bad’ wheel condition is specified as

-
advanced corrosion (pitting of the Aluminium casting)
-
deep spoke damage
-
damage around the fixing holes – caused by improper stud removal
-
Poor wheel castings (fissures or porosity in the original Aluminium casting
-
Poor previous repairs
-
Damage caused by Diamond cut lacquer flaking ( deep pitting)
Some of the above conditions may not be known until wheels are stripped down to bare metal.
Wheels that are in a 'very poor condition' and need extra work will incur additional charges and we will try to contact the customer before any additional chargeable work is undertaken.
We - cannot guarantee to make your old Alloy wheels perfect, but will always endeavour to ensure that they are of the highest possible standard.
We – reserve the right to charge extra in the event of any unforeseen problems.
We – endeavour to meet any given deadline, but do not guarantee this and can not accept liability for any ‘consequential loses’
We – recommend that new valves are fitted after a refurbishment, as standard we provide free off charge new rubber valves.
We - have to make you aware that special pressure sensing valves are very delicate and may be damaged during the tyre removal process, also they may be damaged during their removal from the Alloy wheel especially if they are heavily corroded. All replacement TPMS valves are always at customer’s cost, also if the customer wishes us to try to refit their old TPMS valves the customer must accept full responsibility for the valve integrity and seal to the Alloy wheel.
We do not not except any responsible for resetting vehicle computers/monitoring systems for TPSM valves and tyre pressures. Owners should refer to their vehicle manual for this function.
We - cannot accept responsibility for Alloys that may react to chemicals in the refurbishment process.
